Jan Pecht

Jan recently transitioned from being a part-time real estate agent after 34+ years in the personal lines property and casualty insurance industry. Jan retired in December 2023 from Germania Insurance and is now actively a full-time realtor with Hodde Real Estate. Prior to moving to Hodde Real Estate in 2018, Jan was a part-time agent with Gross Real Estate in Austin County for 25+ years and focused on farm and ranch rural properties. Jan grew up in New Ulm and was in secondary education for two years before moving to Brenham to start her career in insurance at Germania’s Home Office.

Jan, her husband Gregory, and their daughter Kaci are avid hunters and love spending time together outdoors. Jan is a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran church of Gay Hill, a member and officer of the Gay Hill-Mound Hill-Cedar Hill volunteer fire department ladies auxiliary, and maintains memberships in the National Association of Realtors, Texas Realtors, and South Central Board of Realtors. Jan also maintains her Texas secondary education teacher certificate and Texas property and casualty adjuster license.
