Erik Haugen

With a BBA in marketing from the University of Texas, Erik spent 15 years productively working for a leading commercial real estate firm in Houston, Texas. In September 2010, his deep roots in Bellville/Austin County and his love of the outdoors prompted him to leave the big city to pursue a career in farm and ranch real estate with VIP Country Properties. In September of 2014, VIP Country Properties merged with Hodde Real Estate Company and he has called HREC home since then.

Erik’s genuine interest in people, passionate belief in the appeal of the countryside and the benefits of small-town life make sales and marketing of country properties an ideal choice. As a sixth generation Austin County native, he knows the area and has a lifetime of experience working on his family’s land. His passion for the outdoors, knowledge of the market and willingness to listen, gives him the skills necessary to successfully fulfill his client’s farm and ranch needs.
