Courtney Blalock

Before moving to Brenham with her husband, Dan, in 2004 to raise their two young girls in a small-town haven, Courtney grew up in the Memorial area of Houston. She was influenced by her mother’s real estate career in Houston, inspiring her to obtain her real estate salesman license in 1989 and begin her own career at John Daugherty, Realtors. In those first years at John Daugherty, Courtney’s love of all things real estate and an appreciation for being part of an established and esteemed team were formed. Courtney’s gift of welcoming people and forming instant relationships translates perfectly to real estate. Her years of experience have taught her that listening to your buyer or sellers’ specific needs but also reading in between the lines are the best tools to finding them their perfect home. She prides herself on going above and beyond her client’s needs and nurturing intentional relationships with them. Courtney’s passion is helping both buyers and sellers find their perfect home in Washington County and the surrounding counties. When she’s not selling real estate, she enjoys time with friends and family, traveling, playing Mahjong, needlepointing, volunteering at Camp for All, and trying to sneak in a round of golf at Brenham Country Club. Courtney and Dan have two grown daughters, one a labor and delivery nurse, and the other married and working in advertising.
